Not at all! Beginners are welcome at every age. For students who already play, our teachers help them grow their skills, build confidence, and explore new styles.

Absolutely! We host bi-monthly recitals, called “Learn Music Live.” We also have a rock band program where students can perform with others of a similar age and skill level. Performing builds confidence, teamwork, and pride in their progress—but participation is always optional.

We meet students where they are and build lessons around the music they actually want to play. Whether your child is into Taylor Swift, The Beatles, Broadway, or classic rock, we use their interests to teach the fundamentals—like rhythm, technique, and music reading—in a way that keeps them engaged.

Yes! Our teachers work with students across every style—rock, pop, jazz, folk, classical, musical theater, and more. Many kids and teens love starting with the music they know and then branching out as their skills grow

Learn Music caters to students throughout the Lake Norman area! We are located on the border of Cornelius and Davidson, NC, but many of our students are from the surrounding towns of Mooresville, Huntersville, and even Charlotte.
